A work is finished when we can no longer improve it, though we know it to be inadequate and incomplete. We are so overtaxed by it that we no longer have the power to add a single comma, however indispensable. What determines the degree to which a work is done is not a requirement of art or of truth, it is exhaustion and, even more, disgust.

Implement a graphical data structure display subsystem

• New teams, of two or three. Disjoint from old ones.
• Combine best ideas from old designs and specs into new one.
• Implement it.
• Use the gtk-- library (version 1.0) for the actual graphics.
• Include simple examples that use it.
• Submit via ~bap/bin/cs351-handin hw5
• Documentation sufficient to allow others to use your system should be present in the hw5 directory. In ascii, formatted for 80-column, should look nice in emacs. Diagrams in format of your choice as long as we can view them easily.
• Typing "make" in the hw5 directory should create your library and all example programs that use it.
• Typing "make clean" in the hw5 directory should delete all files that can be recreated, including .o files, executables, and .a files.
• Typing "make example" in the hw5 directory should (create if necessary and) run the example programs.
